About The Founders

Son and mother, Alec and Jacey, started the company after walking through their own health journeys with autoimmune disease - and experiencing the heartbreak of losing beloved pets too soon. 

They built a brand around a deep understanding and lived experiences that real food is a part of honest healing and maintaining optimum health. Both Alec and Jacey are dedicated to eating anti-inflammatory, wholesome, real food diets to maintain their health. Jacey spent 15 years working in the integrative medicine industry. In 2014, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She continues to this day on her doctor developed diet for MS and is still fully mobile. Alec was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 2. His seizures were stopped by age 7 after being on a doctor prescribed diet for epilepsy. Both are virtually pharmaceutical free because they understand “food is medicine”. They eat this way every day! 

About Kia and George

The company is named after Kia & George - their beloved four legged family members. Our pets reminded us every day that pets aren’t just animals - they are family! After losing them to cancer, the founders were shocked to learn how incredibly processed pet food truly is.

Ultimately they decided to create something worthy of the kind of love they had for Kia and George: thoughtfully made food that supports long-term wellness - from their very own experiences.

What We Make

Kia and George Pet Kitchen is dedicated to making gently cooked dog meals and wholesome dog treats using simple, recognizable human food ingredients. Our products include:

• Gently cooked meals for nourishment and digestibility with limited human ingredients.
• All meals are formulated by a board-certified veterinary nutritionist with over 30 years of experience, because this is the gold standard of our pet’s health
• All treats are gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free with 2 single ingredient options.
